I was a very shy and quiet kid. I wasn’t one to put myself out there. I was comfortable being in the background and preferred being unseen and unheard.
Isn’t it amazing how God loves to pull us out of our comfort zone and get us to do the very thing we feel inadequate to do?
Sometimes, I feel like Jonah running away from God. At other times, I feel like Moses trying to reason with God that He has got the wrong man. And other times I feel myself giving in like Isaiah saying, “Here am I Lord, send me”. And that’s what I’m going to be doing on this blog. Wearing Isaiah’s hat.
My name is Lara and I am a God chaser and God lover. Life with Him has been full of adventures but well worth it.
When I say adventures, I mean ups and downs. I love it when God interjects into a situation and gives it a different spin with a positive end result that I would have never thought about. God never seems to be in a hurry but He is always on time. He also weaves the best tapestry with its twist and turns. Ending up with an original master piece that is second to none.
When I am not talking about God or writing, I love playing with data. I am an I.T Data Analytics Consultant by profession. I am also a wife, mother and an online Bible study leader.
